What is Medicaid?

Medicaid is a state and national insurance program that works for those who have a very low income.

Are incontinence supplies covered by Medicaid?

Yes, they are covered by Medicaid. They may be some exceptions in some states. However, in the states where we operate, those who are eligible Medicaid members can get incontinence supplies as part of this insurance program.

What is MLTC?

Managed long-term care (MLTC) is a system that streamlines the delivery of long-term services to people who are chronically ill or disabled and who wish to stay in their homes and communities.

Can someone be eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid?

Yes. If you are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid (dually eligible), you can have both. They will work together to provide you with health coverage and lower your costs. Also know that while Medicare and Medicaid are both health insurance programs administered by the government, there are differences in covered services and cost-sharing. You can call 1-800-MEDICARE or contact your local Medicaid office to learn more about Medicare and Medicaid costs and coverage, especially if you are dual-eligible.

Does Medicaid have to be my primary provider?

Once we are authorized to service you by your insurance company legally, it does not necessarily matter whether Medicaid is your primary or secondary provider.
